Karingotta (Lokhanadi) Oil
Karingotta (Neipa bark tree) is a small tree with dark green and glossy leaves, which is native to India. The tree is considered to have medicinal properties in Ayurveda. The bark and wood are gastric, emmenagogue, febrifuge tonic. The seed oil is astringent, acidic, thermo genic, distillate, laxative, cathartic and febrifuge, and applied in rheumatism it is useful in denied conditions of vata kapha, leprosy, scabies, pruritus, skin diseases, constipation and bilious fever.
